Parent Coffee Time

Join us for the first Parent Coffee Time of the year on Thursday, September 20 in the Secondary Library from 8:30-9 a.m. The topic will be "Staying Connected".  Parents will learn about the different ways they can keep in touch with what's happening at the school, such as teacher blogs, Edmodo, ClassConnect and more. Coffee and snacks will be served. See you there!

Mid-Autumn Festival at TIS!

Everyone is invited to the annual Mid-Autumn Festival at TIS on Thursday, September 27 from 6-8 p.m. at the school. This event has always been a great evening and a wonderful way to bring the TIS community together. Come and enjoy face painting, BBQ, baked goods, stalls, games, activities and more! TISPA, the TIS Parent Association, is in need of baked goods as well as volunteers to assist with the evening. Diplomas are here!

The Grade 12 diplomas have arrived. Our 2012 graduates can come to the main office anytime between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to pick up their diploma.

Curriculum Night

All parents are strongly encouraged to attend Curriculum Night on Thursday, September 13 at 6 p.m. to find out more about what their child will be learning in the coming year.  Parents of elementary students are asked to come to the MPR for a brief presentation at 6 p.m. Child care services will be available from 5:45-8:15 p.m. in the 3rd floor MPR. DSEJ Registration Forms

Students will be bringing home a DSEJ registration form today. The education department requires they be filled out on a yearly basis. Please return the forms to your child's teacher by Wed, Sept 5. If you have any questions, please contact the main office. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
