UNICEF Halloween Fundraising Campaign

Once again, TIS is supporting the UNICEF Halloween Fundraising Campaign that raises funds for the UNICEF Education for All Program. This program provides educational opportunities to underprivileged children in developing countries. This is a great learning opportunity for students, allowing them to donate their time to raise funds for those less fortunate.

Individual students, with parent's permission, can request UNICEF boxes to collect donations from family and friends. We have 100 boxes available in the office on a first come, first served basis for students in SK-Grade 12.

Information with the request form has been distributed to students. Boxes are to be returned no later than 23 October.

Important update H1N1

In response to a potential H1N1 outbreak and the possible closure of individual classes, all staff have been working on plans to ensure that all courses can continue while students are at home. Please download the letter for more important details about these plans. It is vital that you complete the form and return it to your child's homeroom teacher by Tuesday, 6 October.

A wonderful experience for student teachers at TIS

Each year, TIS hosts student teachers from universities in Alberta. Student teaching provides the student teacher, the school, the students, and the mentor teacher with great opportunities.

Details will include commencement dates, times and locations of practice, coach name and tournament dates.

THRASS Workshops, 1-2 October

Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend the THRASS Certificate Course. Registration forms are available in all classrooms.

Second Hand Uniforms

Second hand uniforms are now available in the foyer. Please make a donation to TISPA at the front office for any uniforms that you take.
