Important update H1N1

All students will receive information from the Health Bureau regarding the H1N1 vaccine.

If you would like your child to receive the vaccine, please fill in the questionnaire and return to your child's homeroom teacher no later than 8 December.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to check if your child has any health problems that may cause them to be ineligible to receive the shot. The Health Department's medical staff will give the vaccination.

UNICEF Halloween Fundraising Campaign

Once again, TIS is supporting the UNICEF Halloween Fundraising Campaign that raises funds for the UNICEF Education for All Program. This program provides educational opportunities to underprivileged children in developing countries. This is a great learning opportunity for students, allowing them to donate their time to raise funds for those less fortunate.

Individual students, with parent's permission, can request UNICEF boxes to collect donations from family and friends. We have 100 boxes available in the office on a first come, first served basis for students in SK-Grade 12.

Information with the request form has been distributed to students. Boxes are to be returned no later than 23 October.
