What would it be like if you had to walk up a very long and very steep set of outside stairs just to eat breakfast or patiently cook your own dinner meat over glowing barbeque coals?
That's just a fraction of what the Grade Seven students experienced when they stayed at the Caritas Oi Fai Camp on Cheung Chau Island earlier this month.
While at the camp they also learned how to find symbols hidden in various outdoor loca-tions around the camp by following an orienteering course and had their choice of swim-ming at the beach or in the camp's own pool.
They also enjoyed the rides and saw baby sharks and a hosts of other marine creatures close-up at Ocean Park on the first day of their trip, and, on the final day, experienced first-hand the world's need for water conservation at the Hong Kong Wetlands Park.
It was a great trip with a lot of fantastic memories!
