The brother and sister team of Julianne and Andy Zhang turned in stellar performances to take home 1st and 3rd place honours at the 6th Macao-wide English Speech Contest on November 10 and 11 at the Macao Polytechnic Institute. Julianne, who is in grade 11, won the senior high school category with her speech about the value of competition, while grade 3 student Andy Zhang impressed judges with his speech about his favourite sport of swimming. Julianne now qualifies for the finals next year in China.
